Default Solid-state all-HF CW TX built upon a BA?

I hope my blasphemy will be forgiven - it's for a good cause, after
all.

I'd like to get myself a sturdy 50-100W CW TX,
smtg that might be taken out of mothballing
& used anywhere on the HF spectrum,
perhaps even next century.

I'm considering a solid-state rebuild of an existing military/marine
transmitter.
I am not intimidated by having to reengineer every single L & C to put
e.g.
switchmode MOSFETs in.

I like in the idea of putting new life in an existing BA.
Also, much of the heavy metal would be there -
switching, shields, heavy duty RF caps & coils,
and a few nice meters. And also nice, imposing looks! :-)

- A professional TX from yesteryear that would take a quartz
and put out a healthy amount of RF on the same frequenc
or a multiple would to.

- Not concerned about modulation.

- I would not need a tube complement...

- ...nor a tube-type power supply section.
(OK, maaaybe I could chop 500Vdc to make RF,
but it would be pretty extreme...).

- I suppose a push-pull design might have certain advantages,
but otherwise, the simpler the better.

- It should be available in Europe.

======== What TX should I start from? ========

I've been thinking of something like the old Marconi Oceanspan
shipboard series,
but I don't see them traded, and I am open to suggestions both on
model and source.

Also, did anybody pull off such a project?

I converted an ARC-5 in such a manner. It was easy and the exterior looked
the same.
