Is anyone interested in some old Motorola VHF gear? I nave to downsize
and have several older tube type transmitters, receivers, and a very
heavy power supply. This will be pick up only. Zip 19350. I can barely
lift the power supply and any thought of packing for shipment is
beyond me.
Either it gets picked up or it goes to the trash forever. Speak now or
forever weap for the past.

There should be some good stuff there. Power transformers and 6146 tubes
come to mind first. Then there are the small variable capacitors, feed
through caps and coil forms.

Worth picking up if you are close.

Or they can put it in the trunk, and have a genuine 2m FM station circa
1972.

At this point, who doesn't have some of those chassis around?

This is commercial stuff? VHF-HI or VHF-LO? Anything that can be moved
to 6M?

I would hate to see it go to the trash. But I live in Pittsburgh. Would
you be willing to put it on a Greyhound bus to Monroeville, or take it up to
Kutztown swap meet the week before Hamvention?

I will not be making Kutztown this spring since I am going to Hamvention.
Some one at Kutztown would be willing to take it off of your hands.

I know these ideas require some physical effort that I am not sure you may
want to do. After multiple gut operations I fully understand.
