Dick,
I went back and read the thread and the frequency suggested was 3599 kcs for BA CW. Unfortunately, the thread has turned into a free-for-all rant among those who have pent up grievances against all sorts of things from band plans to contest operators to "dumbing down" the license procedures. It is really a shame to see a simple and straightforward suggestion provoking such an explosion of pent up antagonisms. I don't know what the future of the frequency will be, given these circumstances. 73, Bruce AB7YD |

But then I was very happy to see a considerable softening of attitude following a particularly poignant posting. The original posting was innocent enough. And a few of the latest have a much more conciliatory tone. I love CW but send it as though with my left foot (as I am told). But someone somewhere has only his left foot to send it with and is grateful enough for that. So live and let live, I say. 73 all. |
