Im a Former Tech Plus(before that class was dropped. Wish they would have upgraded all of us to General as we had to learn the CW).. got my call when I was 13 and kind of left it behind after leaving for college. after about a 15 year hiatus from the hobby(renewed the license though), I purchased an old Heath SB-100 the other day with all the manuals locally for $50 and I figured Ide try to bring the Green Monster back to life. Oh my.... now I see what all the praise is about (Steve WIK you reading this?!) With just a alligator clip (18") on the antenna jack in the kitchen Im picking up ham signals and WWV. And its beautiful to look at to boot! Jim WA9Z, the seller, did a TREMENDOUS job of packing and shipping the TR7 and PS7. The RV7 came from another seller, the SP7 from another, and Drake/Astatic mic from yet another. I also sourced a 500 Hz CW filter that the TR7 is...
