One of those "looks really nice and works great" things - completely dead
after purchase - we all know the story



I acquired this to pair with a DX-60b / HG-10b combo to replace my
venerable HW-16 that has earned its place on the shelf after completing
W.A.S. and about 33 DX. Only have so much room - so the HR-10b/DX-60b +
the ever-so-rare Heathkit HC-10 console will hopefully occupy that space.

Motorola R2001D Info Needed

Well, its circa 1984, bigger than a breadbox and weighs a ton, so Im
calling it a boat anchor. Just took ownership of this Motorola
Communications Analyzer and Im looking for a schematic. service manual, or
anything to help me troubleshoot it. Its totally dead except for the "AC
on" and "Oven Ready" LEDs are lit. I can find a few DC voltages (5V, 12V,
17V, 35V) present on a few test points on some cards in the rear, but dont
see any DC voltage on the major boards that are filled with...

Hey all --



Looking for any and all advice. Just picked up a CE 100V. I should know
better, but I couldnt resist firing it up since it was sold to me
as "lights up." Fortunately, it did in fact "light up" (in a good way),
and saw that it put out 100 watts of carrier into my dummy load and made a
nice vertical line on the internal scope. It is beyond filthy however, so
is now undergoing a tear down to clean, recap, and rehab.
