Default Boat anchor wire

I am looking for a source of wire of the type that was used in Military
radio equipment in the 1940s. The type that is used to wire the BC-348 for
instance. If you know of a source for this old wire please let me know. I am
not even certain what type of insulation it had.

Thanks for the help, W6QEY

There were all sorts. What kind would you like? You want cotton stuff,
natural rubber stuff, or woven teflon stuff? All were used in the war.
