It is frustrating. It seems there are fewer and fewer real messages
posted. The ones posted by QRZ are really just the title, with a link

Yes. The fellow reposting the QRZ messages claims that it's better than
having no posts at all and makes the group look full. I disagree, but that
is how usenet goes. I just have my killfile set up so I don't see them,
only the replies to them.

I thought there might be some value in replying here, but the only ones
reading it already know!

I'd love to see more talk in this group. Mind you, I should be out trying
to get my No. 19 Wireless set working instead of reading usenet...
