I have recently come into possession of a nice little HF exciter/amplifier
manufactured by Gates. It uses a push-pull set of 812s driven by an 807 buffer and a 6V6 oscillator......a pretty classic lineup. It is an rf deck only: no powers supply, no metering, but everything else. Just tracing through the wiring shows pretty much what you'd expect. That being said, a schematic and/or manual for this MO-3452 would be quite handy in restoring this beauty back to life. I've checked the usual spots and found nothing. Your help is solicited. I am also looking for some history of this unit. How was it employed? Was this part of a larger transmitter assembly and, if so, which one? Thanks for your help and 73, Joe K3ICO |
