I have one too -- actually a military version BC 779-A. It's beauty, with
goldenbrass dial window trim. Works great. Freq coverage is 100-400 KC and
2.5 - 20 MC (no AM BC band or 160m).

What is your freq coverage? More like 0.55 - 30 MC? Hammarlund made many
variations in freq coverage. Mine was probalby for a marine shore station.
