Note that this is not an audio processor per se - i.e., it is not a line-level processor designed to process program material that will be fed to a transmitter. This is strictly a microphone processor. It is, however, one of the best microphone processors available - list price new is about $1000, and $350 is a very reasonable price for a used 528E in good condition. When used with a quality microphone (and I mean broadcast-quality, not a D-104) and a transmitter with good frequency response and low distortion this would be a major key to a excellent sounding station with consistently high modulation. I have used the 528 series for years in broadcast stations. Dale H.
