Default Question - 6EA8 and 6GH8A Tubes ???

Hi , I have a Sonar FS-23 Tube Tranceiver and it needs 4 6EA8 Tubes in
it. The Tube Substitution Manuel says that 6GH8A Tubes will work ? Is
there any Difference in these tubes and if i use the 6GH8A tubes instead
of the 6EA8 tubes will it due harm to the other tubes in the radio -
Like shorten the other tubes life ???. Please let me know.....Thank
You.

I used the 6GH8s as a sub in my old Hallicrafters transceiver and
had no problems at all.

difference.

Thank You Both for Informing me about these tubes - I will start using
the 6GH8A's now in the Radio without worring about harming the other
tubes life span and also shorting out the chassis.
