Trying to build a cheap SSB adapter for my R-390A. Want to buy a
receiver with 455 Khz if and switchable sideband product detector at 455. Only IF, Product detector and audio stages need to be working. E-mail description of what you have and price to: I think it wouldn't be too hard to do something like this with one of the Toko IF coils from Digi-Key, and one of the synchronous detector chips sold for TV color carrier detection. Somebody has to have something like that as a magazine product. If you want to go tubes, I think the sheet beam tube is the way to go. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra.
