Default am 912

Got a couple of am 912 amps from fair radio sales. I am looking for info on
power supply design for these rigs. I plan on using one on 144 and the other
on 220. Initial plans are to use a bridge rectifier for hv then come of the
center tap of the transformer for the screen voltage. I want to regulate
this with a shunt regulator using a power FET, any thoughts. I have more
trouble with metering than with anything else. Also I am planning on using a
4cx250 in them eventually. Should I use a 6 volt filament transformer or cut
it back to 5.5. I know you have to do this at 432mhz but dont know about 144
and 220.
TIA Jimmie
