Do it right. If you want to keep those nice metal cans, either use brand new replacement cans (Antique Electronics Supply carries them), or take the old cans out, scoop the guts out, and use RTV to mount some new modern Panasonic capacitors inside the cases. You put ROE caps in there, and you'll be right back where you started in a couple years. The 450V Panasonics are not expensive and they are solid and reliable.
