Any one going to the Stanwood Wa. swap this weekend? I sure am.It will be my
first time to a swap meet as a seller. So it should be a wild time. You all know how it is.A couple of hours of heavy trading early and then the part I like, the deals for the stuff people don't want to haul home again. And I always seem to find a couple of things in the dumpster. Good thing I got a big garage and house. I have learned alot about ham gear lately as a couple of people let me clean out the old gear they no longer used. Ham gear is not my usuall thing. But I am hooked on boatanchors like the Collins 388 that I got some good advise on from some of you.THANK YOU ALL. And now it works fine. Well I just felt like babbling so I'll say goodnight. WesJ....... |

Can you post more information about the time and place? There is also a
radio swap meet in Portland on Saturday (see below). Portland and Stanwood are in opposite directions from where I live, so I would have to choose one or the other :-) Regards, Phil Nelson Northwest Vintage Radio Society is having their spring swapmeet on Saturday May 8th 2004 at the Salvation Army Rose Center, 1785 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland OR. Doors open at 09:00. See the NWVRS website for details http://www.nwvrs.org/ |
