Default Radio Mart and SX-100 on Ebay

gottahaveit1995 bought this radio from me on ebay several months ago.
The serial numbers match up. His description about the previous owner
owning it for 8 years is rather untrue along with a lot of other BS. The
radio did work well however. He actually bought a whole bunch of
SX-100's that week from a bunch of different people, not one person who
had 6 of these.

The radio's case had been poorly repainted. He paid over $300 for it so
will be interesting to see whether he breaks even or not!

Hmmmmm!

And he says 'due to two total time wasters I am relisting' - read it
this way - "I'm a BIG TIME shill bidder. That's why I hide the
bidder IDs - that way you can't see Gottahavit1995 bidding the
price up. Sometimes I mess up and win my own item. Rats! - it
happened TWICE to me this time around'

What a skank

I'll bet he does! It looks good in the pics and his desc helps. I
guess that it goes to show you that it's all in the listing.

Another thing wrong with the listing is that he states it is in excellent
condition. Even when new, the SX100 was so mechanically unstable you couldn't
use a key on the same table with the receiver. SSB was difficult. No such
thing as an excellent SX100.

You mean to say YOU never had a good one. I use one nightly (Mark
I version no less), with the .5 kC filter setting and pound brass into the
night. Solid as a rock. Same on SSB. Never had an ounce of 'instability'
with it. You must have had a crappy one or three...

Probably uses Photoshop or PaintShop Pro to touch them pics up a bit.

radio-cheat only shows one picture of the items he sells, never gives
views of the top, sides, bottom, insides of cabinets were you might be
able to see scratches, bad paint job, ect.

Uh, that's the purpose of his pictures of only one view.
