Default Heathkit IT-18

I just picked up a Heath IT-18 transitor tester. The meter movement
appears to be burned out. (tested it extensively - took it right
apart and there is continuity right to the armature).
Would anyone have a spare one for sale.
It was made by Mercer Electronics in Mercer Wisconsin. Full scale
is 200UA. I'll even take an entire IT-18.
Best to email richard_parker AT sympatico.ca

Thanks
BL

Richard Parker is a character in "The Life of Pi" by Yann Martel
It's a good read

Keep checking e-bay -- one there sold for $5 and was listed as fully
tested and operational.
Check for completed items there to see it.

Probably cheaper than a meter repair
