Default Lightning Strikes Boat Anchor

Actually, I think it's a nice old receiver..

Hello to all. Wondering if anyone here might have an old
Hallicrafters S-40B chassis and parting out? I need the
Band 1/2 antenna input coil ass'ly, L3-C3. Any help?
Suggestions where to find? Thanks, Morris.

Good luck finding that input coil assembly. I have an S-40B - in fact my
first receiver back in 1957 - but am not parting it out. I was wondering,
what shape are your "caps" in? I haven't turned mine on since 1981 and
assume it may have problems in that department.
