FS:Restored Vintage National NC-57 Receiver. This very nice 1950
General Coverage receiver has been re-conditioned as follows: All electrolytic and filters caps replaced. Several resistors replaced. All Tubes tested and replaced accordingly. Fuse installed under the chassis for protection. The two tuning dial windows, which often become cloudy and curled with age, have been replaced with a super clear polycarbonate sheet. The front panel white lettering as been carefully reconditioned. Radio has been re-aligned. The receiver front panel is in excellent condition. All knobs are original and are excellent .The cabinet paint has been cleaned and polished. There are some abrasions on the top edges (the lid is fine), and the cabinet left side has some scratches but cleaning has help to minimize these. Chassis is clean with a minimum of corrosion. This is a nice restored boat anchor receiver with pleasant sound. Included is a copy of the Instruction Manual .Additional photos available. This model radio was featured in the February & March issues of Monitoring Times. $115 plus shipping (33 pounds) from Seattle. Thanks Larry W8GTT |
