Joe Hanulec Interesting, since the HP 608 covers from 10 mhz to 480 mhz. How did he align the receiver below 10 mhz? Inquiring minds want to know. |

Used the Sylvania 216 for IF sweep and low end tracking with external counter. TM 11-897 calls out dial accuracy of 0.2% which it meets after some effort. Band 6 sensitivity is not specified in the TM nor is the RF amp gain. Rather dead for such a high end receiver and I believe it is due in part to the second harmonic LO used in band 6 only. Lower bands meet the TM spec sensitivity. Joe |
