Has anyone converted one of these amps to a WARC band operation (eg.,
17 meters?) Since the amp has coils taped for both 20 and 15 meters, is there any risk to setting the band selector to the 15 meter tap and tuning it for maximum output on 17 meters? Thanks for any suggestions, Chuck KB5GC |

If you do this (at low power, of course), does it tune up, or does the control get all the way to the end before you find a peak? If you can tune it up, there should be no problem, but you may not be able to. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
