Hello,
I just picked up a 520 in great shape with orginal finals.
The serial no. is 520,719 anyone have an idea of its approx. age?

The date will be 1980 or earlier. I purchased a TS-530 in 1981, when it and
the TS-430 were both new - and incorporated changes following the WARC-79
conference -- new bands (30, 17 and 12 meters).

Mid seventies.....it and the Yaesu FT-101 series came out about the same
time.
