I recently acquired a Drake R4B with MS-1 and a Drake T4XC
from a radio club's holdings that had not been used or checked out for
3-4 years. The R4B is S/N 13XXX and the T4XC S/N 20XXX. The R4B has
12.6 MHz, 13.1 MHz and 13.5 MHz extra crystals for the 160 meter band;
plus 39.1 MHz, 40.1 MHz and 40.6 MHz crystals for the 10 meter band.
The T4XC has the 12.9 MHz crystal for the 160 meter band. Both units
are in the Drake condition "Very Good Condition", however the R4B does
not tune. You can hear signals passing through the IF, possibly in the
5 MHz area. I do not have an AC-4 to check out the T4XC, so I can not
check it out.
I would like to get my money back and payment for the packing
and shipping from 23320 to the buyer. I'll ship radios and manuals for
$300 plus packing, freight and insurance upon receipt of cashier's
check or after personal check clears (10-12 days).
