This may be slightly off-topic for this particular newsgroup, but I
figured I'd take a shot at it. I have the following items of vintage
broadcast equipment, and you lucky folks are getting first crack at 'em
before I take the lot to Ebay.

The following items are solid-state:

1 NAD 4020B AM-FM stereo tuner, linear dial, used as an air monitor


I picked up the NAD tuner from GT a week ago. It appears to be running
fine, after the normal TLC for post-broadcast life (production) equipment.
What is normal TLC?
Standard cleaning
New #86 bulb (slide rule dial illumination)
Replacement of missing M3 and M4 chassis & front panel screws

1 Plectron R-720 weather radio, vintage 1976, tuned to 162.40 Mhz, tone
frequency 1050 hz, has built-in whip antenna and input for external
antenna, works on either 115 VAC or 12 VDC

Jumpered for 13.8 VDC operation. It hears the 162.40 NWS station (with some
breaks) in Oswego (40 miles away) on whip antenna. Still looking or the
proper power cord (or just plug) - which was proprietary to this Plectron
receiver.
