Kits can't be "mint" if they've been put together. Mint means NEW, never used. They might be very good, excellent, super duper, but they can't be mint. Ron |

Did Heath sell assembled versions of these? If so, those could be both assembled and "mint." - ----------------------------------------------- Jim Adney Madison, WI 53711 USA ----------------------------------------------- |

Did Heath sell assembled versions of these? If so, those could be both assembled and "mint." But even if they'd been bought as a kit, they could still be mint. The meaning then that it would be in great shape (no scratches, no mods, original paint, etc), and I suppose it might also mean that it was assembled carefully, but I can't say I've given much thought to that last point. I suspect if the wording was "mint kit" then that would require that it not be assembled, because then it's no longer a kit, and hence isn't "mint" as the day the builder bought it. I'm not convinced that someone assembling the kit makes it less pristine, as in "less than mint". But, obviously if someone wants the kit, any kit that was assembleed is spoiled goods.
