Default Wilcox Communications Receiver

Does anyone know what type of receiver this is? The front panel says
Communications Receiver Type F3 by the Wilcox Electric Co. It looks to
be early 50s by the tube compliment.

1940's design. Single channel jobs used primarily for HF avaiation comm at
airports.

I had one a few years ago crystalled up for WWV on 10 Mhz.

Yes...that is a CW-3 Wilcox.
Many had a BFO and used by the Coast Guard for Fixed Frequency monitoring.
I have one of these fixed on 5696 MHZ.
Caps need replacement but slight Hum is not objectionable (yet)
