I have heard more than once a radio broadcast in which David Sedaris tells a story bout caring for his mother during her illness. I do not believe this is the well known story in which he recounts his family's reaction to his mother's breast cancer. Rather, it is a story about how he tenderly cares for her, even bathing her. The story has much meaning for me and gives me strength as I relate to my 94 year old mother in a nursing home. But I cannot find the story in the online archives or any where else. E-mail responses to will be appreciated. So go to the library and look for his books. Most of the older NPR pieces that he did have been published. I will say that I don't recall anything from Naked that meets that description, but I do not know about Barrel Fever or Holidays on Ice. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra.
