One of the more bizarre artifacts on the web is a transcription of discussions
about the start of the first nationwide American radio talkshow. Herb Jepko had run a talkshow in Salt Lake City at KSL for many years, and another station was interested in running it. But how to do it? What quality of interconnect line was needed? How would advertising be billed and who would get the money? How would union agreements affect non-union KSL? Here's the page with a transcript of that 1967 discussion: http://www.nitecaps.net/KSLmeeting.htm |
