KSE Media Ventures Acquires KRWZ Denver From Entercom

Stan Kroenkes KSE Media Ventures is adding a fourth Denver station to its
portfolio. Entercom will sell Cruisin Oldies 950 KRWZ Denver to KSE for an
undisclosed price. KSE is in the process of acquiring Country “92.5 The
Wolf� KWOF, Hot AC “Mix 100.3� KIMN and Classic Hits “Kool 105.1� KXKL
Denver from Wilks Broadcast Group for $54 million. KRWZ currently serves as
the flagship station of Kroenkes NBA Denver Nuggets and NHL Colorado
Avalanche.

Salem Debuts New Stations In Denver & Minneapolis

Salem Communications continues to take control of the final five stations
it acquired from Disney in September. In Denver, 1690 KDDZ Arvada has
changed call letters to KDMT and is now stunting with the music of Johnny
Cash as Cash Country 1690. The stunt will lead into the launch of Salems
Wall Street Business Network programming as Money Talk 1690. In
Minneapolis/St. Paul Salem has moved their Business programming from 1570
KYCR Golden Valley to 1440 KDIZ Golden Valley. A call letter swap is

Radio-One Shuffling DC Morning Shows

As first teased in the report earlier this month that Tom Joyner would be
ousted from his Reach Media syndicated morning show at the end of 2016,
Radio-One is shuffling the morning shows at its Washington DC cluster. The
moves will start with Joyner shifting from Urban AC Majic 102.3 WMMJ to
Talk 1450 WOL. That will bump Carl Nelson from mornings to afternoons at
WOL. Joyners vacancy at WMMJ will be filled by the move of the syndicated
Russ Parr from Urban 93.9 WKYS. WKYS in turn will debut a new locally
originating morning show as Lil Mo and
