97.5 Pride Radio Debuts In Austin

iHeartMedia will launch 97.5 Pride Radio K248CU/100.7 KASE-HD2 Austin TX at
12pm today. As we first reported in late December, the translator will
become the second LGBT targeted Pride Radio station on an analog signal
joining 96.7 W244BY Minneapolis which debuted last June. Austins 97.5 Pride
Radio will include the national Pride Radio airstaff of Ricky in mornings,
Delana from 10am to 2pm, Houston from 2-6pm, Pacey from 6-10pm, and
Christie 10pm to 2am along with Austin oriented LGBT news and events.
K248CU will debut with 10,000 songs commercial free.

KFI Debuts New Schedule

iHeartMedia News/Talk 640 KFI Los Angeles has announced its new programming
schedule following the exit of 10am-1pm host Bill Carroll. Gary Hoffman and
Shannon Farren will move from 1-3pm to 10am-2pm doubling the shows length.
The pair, who had been news anchors at the station, took over the 1-3pm
show from Mark Thompson and Elizabeth Espinosa in October. Afternoon hosts
John Ken will move up an hour from 3-7pm to 2-6pm while night host Tim
Conway Jr. adds the 6pm hour to his 7-10pm show. Morning host Bill Handel
remains in place from 6-10am and Coast to Coast AM
