Altitude Sports 950 Denver Sets Launch Lineup

Kroenke Sports Entertainment has announced its on-air lineup for its
launch of Altitude Sports 950 KKSE Denver on Friday, April 8 to coincide
with the home opener for the Colorado Rockies. The lineup will consist of
Josh Dover hosting The Morning Scoreboard from 6-7am. Former Denver Nugget
Scott Hastings, who had been co-hosting middays at 104.3 The Fan KKFN until
December, will join the KKSE morning show along with former Root Sports and
KCNC-TV sportcaster Tom Helmer and Altitude TV reporter Lauren Gardner for
mornings from 7-10am. Rich Eisens syndicated program will follow from
10am-1pm. Former KKFN morning host/KCNC-TV sportscaster and current
Altitude TV studio anchor Vic Lombardi and fellow TV anchor Kyle Keefe will
air from 1-4pm. Nate Kreckman, formerly of the now defunct ESPN 105.5 and
former Denver Bronco Tom Nalen will fill the 4-7pm slot. KKSE will serve as
flagship station of Kroenkes NBA Denver Nuggets, NHL Colorado Avalanche,
MLS Colorado Rapids and National Lacrosse League Colorado Mammoth. James
Merilatt, owner of Mile High Sports which operates 1340 KDCO Denver via LMA
with a lineup of brokered hosts, will serve as PD of KKSE while stepping
down from day-to-day management of KDCO. Original Report 3/15: Kroenke
Sports Entertainment has closed on its $3.8 million purchase of 950 KRWZ
Denver from Entercom and has flipped the station to a temporary simulcast
of Country 92.5 The Wolf KWOF. The next step for the station will
apparently come on April 11 as the station completes its shift to Altitude
Sports 950 KKSE as the flagship for Kroenkes Denver Nuggets, Colorado
Avalanche and Colorado Rapids. The date was leaked by Fox Sports Radios
Rich Eisen on Twitter announcing his show will be carried by the station.

program not carried by iHeartMedias Denver Sports 760 KDSP as the station
instead clears Colin Cowherd on a two hour delay. It is also expected that
former KCNC-TV anchor/104.3 The Fan KKFN-FM midday co-host Vic Lombardi
will have a role on the station in addition to his duties as studio host
for Denver Nuggets broadcasts for their Altitude TV. Kroenke Sports
Entertainment also owns KWOF, AC Mix 100.3 KIMN and Classic Hits Kool 105.1
KXKL in the Denver market.

as Rock leaning Classic Hits Big 101.5. After a weekend of stunting as

Jacksonville's Answer Gets Promised FM Signal Upgrade

Chesapeake-Portsmouth Broadcasting has broken up the simulcast of Christian
AC The Promise 94.1 WSOS-FM Fruit Cove FL and 100.7 WMUV Brunswick GA.
While the Promise programming remains on 100.7, 94.1 has flipped to a
simulcast of sister Conservative Talk AM600 The Answer WBOB/100.3 WW262AG
Jacksonville. The move upgrades WBOBs FM signal from the 250 watt
translator to the 5.5kW Class C3 signal of 94.1. A new format will debut on
the 100.3 translator following a transitional phase to move the audience to
the new signal. Chesapeake-Portsmouth Broadcasting acquired 94.1 and 100.7
in October 2014 from Renda Broadcasting for $3.7 million and moved the
Promise format from 91.7 WTRJ-FM Orange Park in January 2015.
