Rock 99.7 Columbia Launches

After testing its signal on and off for the past week, Alpha Media
officially launched Rock Rock 99.7 W259CL/93.5 WARQ-HD2 Columbia SC this
afternoon.

Original Report 12/22: The launch of Alpha Media Rock Rock 99.7 W259CL/93.5
WARQ-HD2 Columbia SC is imminent.

While the translator has been heard testing, the new format has begun
streaming online with a mix of Alternative and Active Rock music from the
90s through now. The new format will flank sister Fox 102.3 WMFX St.
Andrews, which became the only Rock or Classic Rock station in the market
when Alpha flipped Rock 93.5 WARQ to Hot AC in 2014.

W259CL will operate with 250w/152m from directly across from the South
Carolina State House in downtown Columbia.

Entercom AC 96.5 KOIT San Francisco has quickly filled its morning vacancy
with the addition of Nick Steele and Kristen Flowers from Entravision
Country 101.9 The Wolf KNTY Shingle Springs/Sacramento.

Steele and Flowers, who are married, have been with KNTY since June 2014.
They previously worked at Midwest Communications CHR 100.7 Mix-FM WMGI
Terre Haute IN. Steele has also worked in Las Vegas, Tyler TX, and Dayton
OH, while Flowers previously worked in News/Talk in Las Vegas and Houston.

They replace Andrew Hart who departed the station last week.

William McCutchens 103.5 KBJX Mertzon/San Angelo TX has revealed its
permanent identity as it has flipped to AC Majic 103.5.

The station had been running Christmas Music as Frosty 103.5 since signing
on for the first time in October. KBJX fills the AC hole in the market
created by Townsquare Medias Magic 98.7 KELI flipping to Hot AC i98.7 in
May.

Matt Cord & Kristen Herrmann To Host Mornings At Ben-FM Philadelphia

Beasley Media Variety Hits 95.7 Ben-FM WBEN-FM Philadelphia will debut a
new morning show hosted by Matt Cord and Kristen Herrmann on Tuesday,
January 3.

Cord joins WBEN-FM from sister Rock 93.3 WMMR where he has hosted nights
since 2005. He also hosted afternoons at Alternative Y100 WPLY. Herrmann is
Production Director for WBEN-FM and hosted middays at the station. The duo
replace Marilyn Russell, who exited when Beasley took over the station from
Greater Media in November.

Overnighter Jacky Bam Bam will move to nights at WMMR.

WZST made the flip to Variety Hits 100.9 Jack-FM at 12am on Monday,
December 26.

Original Report 12/22: LHTC Media is prepping a change at its recently
acquired AC Variety 101 100.9 WZST Westover/Morgantown WV.

Upon completion of its run with Christmas Music, WZST will flip to Variety
Hits 100.9 Jack-FM. WZST will also retain all of the West Virginia
University sports broadcasts it carries including football, mens and womens
basketball, and baseball.

LHTC acquired Spectrum Radio Fairmonts four station cluster in Morgantown
in October.
