Entercom Gives New Roles To Kevin Weatherly & Chris Ebbott In Los Angeles

Entercom has announced new roles for a pair of its programmers in Los
Angeles CA.

Chris Ebbott, who currently serves as Program Director for CHR 97.1 Amp
Radio KAMP and Classic Hits K-Earth 101 KRTH, will drop those duties at
KAMP but become Operations Manager for Radio.com in Los Angeles. Ebbott
joined the then-CBS Radio cluster in June 2014 from Bell Media Toronto to
program KRTH. He added KAMP programming duties in July 2017.

Senior VP/Programming Kevin Weatherly will retake the PD role for KAMP.
Weatherly programmed the station from its launch in 2009 until last July.
He will also continue as Program Director of Variety Hits 93.1 Jack-FM
KCBS-FM and Alternative 106.7 KROQ.

Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the
United States, named Kevin Weatherly, as Programming Director of 97.1 AMP
Radio (KAMP-FM). Weatherly, Senior Vice President, Entercom Los Angeles,
will continue in his role as Program Director for KROQ (KROQ-FM) and 93.1
JACK FM (KCBS-FM).

Chris Ebbott was named as Operations Manager for Radio.com in Los Angeles.
This is in addition to his role as Programming Director for K-EARTH 101
(KRTH-FM).

Rusty James Joins Max Media Norfolk As VP/Operations & Programming

Max Media has announced the appointment of Rusty James as Vice President of
Operations and Programming for its Norfolk VA cluster starting July 9.

James has been programming at Midwest Communications Evansville IN since
2005 and rose to Operations Manager in 2014. At Max Media he will oversee
Classic Hits 92.9 The Wave WVBW, Sports 94.1 ESPN Radio WVSP, Country 97.3
The Eagle WGH-FM, CHR Hot 100.5 WVHT, and Oldies 1310 WGH. James fills the
position that has been vacant since John Shomby departed in February 2016
to become Director of Nash Programming for Cumulus Media.

Max Media of Hampton Roads proudly announces the addition of Rusty James

as the new Vice President of Operations and Programming.

Rusty got his start in radio in 1983 at 14 years of age in Frankfort, KY.
For the last 13½ years Rusty has been with Midwest Communications in
Evansville, Indiana as Program Director with the last 4 years as Operations
Manager for WIKY, WSTO, WABX and WLFW.

Rusty is also an Indy Film Actor in several films including his latest with
Will Chase, “E-Bowla�. Rusty is married to his beautiful wife Cindy and
they have one over- grown Doberman Pincher named Diesel.

“I certainly didnt anticipate leaving WIKY and my Midwest Communications
family. However, I met Keith Barton and I realized that this opportunity
was just too good to pass up. I look forward to working with the Team in
