I'm Mike Jahn, the original New York Times rock critic (late 60s -
early 70s). About the same time as I bought a scanner, my mother
informed me that she saved ever rock review I ever did for The Times,
and there were several hundred of them. Consequently, I started a
non-commercial site, TALES OF THE ANCIENT ROCKER, and am scanning and
putting them up on the Web. I just posted a review I wrote about
Janis Joplin's first New York concert backed by Full Tilt Boogie
(Forest Hills Stadium, NYC, August 1970).
