I want to run a portable setup for like 6hrs at mardigras in Galveston Tx on
the 14th of feb. I would run the setup out of my mini van with maybe 40watts I need ideas on a portable antenna and what mast I should use and how to setup it up. Looking for ifno on how to seup a protable setup that could fit in a mini van and could be setup and taken down with in 30min. |

I don't think "special event" licenses are available in the US, the way they are in Europe. And if you are looking to set up next week, you're about two years too early to get an expermental license through the FCC. That's probably the only way to do it. As far as actual equipment goes, you can get a complete outfit from Klay Anderson Audio for under $100k, I think.
