comment on article titled Left Launches a Station, An Attack in 4-2-2004 L.A.
TIMES from laradio.com 4-2-04: Michael Harrison (publisher of Talkers magazine): "...Because of the network's decision to delay its programming three hours for the West Coast, so that Franken's show airs at noon in New York and Los Angeles..." my phone call to al franken over air america at about 2:25 pm ET and PT (a few minutes before senator hilary clinton called in) on April 1st 2004 suggested to them that the 3 hour tape delay on the west coast was a bad idea because live phone calls (except via internet streaming) could not be made (my pet peeve against anything but live local radio). ironic that the left coast is again being ignored by east coast insiders. peace, ted alvy |
