Fox News Media has partnered with Spotify in a new deal that will
distribute Fox News Podcasts on the Spotify platform. Fox News has 20
original podcasts with three more launches planned for May.

Wharton To Retire From NAB After 24 Years

The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that Dennis
Wharton, executive vice president of Communications, is retiring effective
July 1. Wharton, a 24-year veteran of NAB and the longest-serving spokesman
in the organization’s history, will continue to serve as a senior adviser
to NAB, according to President and CEO Gordon Smith.

Broadcasters Pressure FCC For Change

Back in March GeoBroadcast Solutions filed a petition with the FCC asking
that FM booster stations using its technology be allowed to originate
limited programming content to provide zoned programming to a primary
station’s service area.Â*On Monday radio station owners filed comments in
support of the petition.
