I've noticed that there have been a decent amount of posts here regarding
satellite radio. It comes as no surprise that there ought to be posts somewhere about one of the fastest growing technologies ever, but it did surprise me that there isn't any newsgroup dedicated it satellite radio. I have submitted a proposal for alt.radio.satellite in alt.config and I've come here just to gauge any interest people may have in posting to the proposed group and to justify if it is worthwhile or not. If some could reply showing their interest or lack thereof, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark VO1ONE |

... There is alt.satellite.radio.europe. So, what about satellite radio outside of Europe? Besides, that group was improperly created to begin with. alt.radio.satellite would be more apt to conform to existing heirarchy, and would include all of satellite radio, not just satellite radio in Europe. That would exclude XM and Sirius which between them have over 3 million subscribers. Worldspace operates not only in Europe, but Africa and Asia, as well. Now, we have MBCo in Japan on the horizon; where will they discuss their satellite radio? |
