Urban One Named Finalist For Richmond Casino

And now there are only three. The City of Richmond has chosen Urban One,
Maryland Developer The Cordish Companies and Bally's as the three finalists
to build a casino and resort along I-95. Three other bidders were knocked
out of the running Wednesday.

EMF Moving National HQ

Educational Media Foundation has announced it is moving its national
headquarters from Rocklin, California (pictured here), to Nashville. The
move is expected to be done in phases and take three years, with employees
being relocated and a new campus constructed.

WJRs Frank Beckman Retires

News/Talk 760 WJR Detroit Mid-Morning Host Frank Beckmann announced his
retirement this week after 48 years with the station. Beckmann has hosted
the 9AM to Noon slot on WJR for the last 18 years. Beckman's contract
expires at the end of March. He said the station wanted him to stay. His
last show will be tomorrow.
