Urban One Promotes Wayne Jones

Wayne Jones is now D.O.S. for the Urban One Houston radio group, moving up
from LSM. Jones has held management positions in Austin, Baton Rouge and
D.C. He made Radio Ink's Future African American Leaders list in 2015 and
2017 and is a 2017 Radio Wayne award winner.

On May 6th the Westwood One Podcast Network will become the Cumulus Podcast
Network. Cumulus made the name change announcement Wednesday. Suzanne
Grimes, EVP Corporate Marketing and President of Westwood One, will retain
responsibility for the network.

Chris Baker, afternoon host on KFAB in Omaha, is being criticized for a
Tweet he posted shortly after the Derek Chauvin verdict in the George Floyd
case. The Tweet was headlined: “Guilty!� beneath it was an image of four
dancing Black native men in loincloths.
