Matt Johnson Joins Pulse-FM Raleigh As Program Director

WPLW-FM Hillsborough NC has announced the addition of Matt MJ Johnson as
Program Director and afternoon host.

Johnson most recently served as PD of iHeartMedia CHR Z107.7 KSLZ St. Louis
from May 2018 until being part of last falls layoffs at the company. Prior
to St. Louis, Johnson served as Operations Manager for Broadway Media Salt
Lake City and PD of CHR Mix 105.1 KUDD and has also programmed “94.5
Kiss-FM� WDKF Dayton and “B103.9� WXKB Fort Myers.

Johnson fills the opening created by Jud Heusslers move to Cox CHR 95.1
WAPE Jacksonville last month.

Curtis Media Group has announced the hiring of Matt Johnson as Program
Director of Top 40 PULSE-FM 96.9/102.5. Johnson brings a wealth of
experience in the CHR format to the Triangle, having programmed stations in
Naples, FL, Salt Lake City and most recently, KSLZ in St Louis.

Curtis Media Group SVP and WPLW General Manager, David Stuckey commented,

Mason Schreader Departs Mornings At 92.3 WIL

Hubbard Country 92.3 WIL St. Louis has broken up the long-running
partnership of Mason Schreader and Zach ‘Remy’ Hoesly as Schreader was let
go following todays show.

Mason Remy joined WIL as afternoon hosts in June 2018 before moving to
mornings last May. The duo previously both worked together at CHR 101.5
WBNQ Bloomington IL (in separate dayparts) before teaming up in mornings at
93.7 The Bull KSD St. Louis in 2010. After moving to afternoons and then
also hosting mornings at Classic Hits 103.3 KLOU, they moved to Chicago in
2015 to host mornings at then newly-launched Country Big 95.5 WEBG. They
returned to St. Louis at WIL following their exit from WEBG.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that current midday host Kasey
Washausen will join Hoesly in mornings. Washausen joined WIL last May after
previously hosting nights and then mornings at CHR Now 96.3 KNOU.
