Bob & Sheri Moving To K104.7 Charlotte

After being dropped from Radio Ones 107.9 WLNK Charlotte after twenty-nine
years at the end of April, Now! Medias Bob Sheri show has found a new
affiliate in their hometown.

The Charlotte Observer reports that Bob Sheri will tentatively debut on
Beasley Media AC K104.7 WKQC Charlotte on Monday, May 17. To make room for
Bob Sheri, current morning hosts Phil Harris and Melany Myers will move to
afternoons. Jack Daniel will shift from afternoons to middays. The current
morning show will introduce the new morning show on-air on Monday morning
at 8:25.

Bob Sheri launched on then AC “Sunny 107.9� WBT-FM in 1992 when Sheri
Lynch was brought on as Bob Lacey’s morning co-host. The station rebranded
as “Hits 107.9� in 1996 and “107.9 The Link� WLNK in 1997. The day Bob
Sheri ended on the station, Radio One relaunched WLNK as Mix 107.9.

WKQC currently leads the Charlotte market with a 6.7 share. WLNK was tied
for seventh at a 4.6 share.
