KDZR was one of two Conservative Talk stations in Portland owned by Salem. The company will continue to operate The Answer 860 KPAM Troutdale. Steele has been filling-in on mornings alongside Bill Broadway Bertschinger since Kristina ‘Krissy T’ Williamson departed last November. Steele has worked part-time at WDRQ since exiting middays at Audacys crosstown Country 99.5 WYCD in 2018. Steele has also hosted middays at 98.7 Amp Radio WDZH Detroit, spent twelve years at CHR B96 WBBM-FM Chicago, and had stints at 96.3 WDVD Detroit, Fresh 105.9 WCFS Chicago, and Power 92 KKFR Phoenix in her career. WDRQ has also swapped out midday voicetrackers as 96.3 KSCS Dallas Rachel Ryan takes over the shift from 95.5 WFMS Indianapolis Jenna Rae. Gabriel will join Matt Otstot on Fresnos Morning News from 6-9am. He joins KMJ from afternoons at One Putt Broadcasting Sports 940 ESPN KFIG Fresno and has also worked in the market at iHeartMedia Conservative Talk Power Talk 96.7 KALZ. Prior to coming to Fresno in 2015, Gabriel began his radio career as a producer and fill-in host at KTLK and KTMY Minneapolis and spent nearly six years at WDAY Fargo ND.
