In the US, the FCC does not regulate content. Actually, they skirt that concept. 1. Indecency and obscenity are prohibited. 2. There are specific rules about political advertisements and the usage of same by candidates. 3. There is a requirement to provide programming, a tthe licensee's determination, to serve the community. |
