When I pass a particular spot traveling east Northern Parkway on Long Island, and I have my radio tuned to 88.3 I hear Howard Stern's voice momentarily. (I once heard Quiver's voice, too.) We know that Stern is on satellite radio now, so why would the conditions explained allow me to hear him? Somebody has a satellite radio receiver that rebroadcasts on FM, and it is not properly set up and is leaking signal out. This is sadly become VERY common and has become a real interference issue for stations on the noncomm band. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
