Hello Steveo:

Yeah bein ah "Big Strap" ain't easy! It takes work. Well do your best.
And if you ever want to sell the Collins Amp, call me first!

Had a great Thanks Givin here. The neighbors shoot off left over fire
works from the 4th of July. Had way too much to eat. Got to talk man
talk with the boys, and ignored the women bitch and complain talk, as usual.

I think the best part was when we all watched the top 100 1980 songs, on
TV, only the left speaker ain't workin, so pluged in the TV audio to the
100 watt Stereo and man that sound great. Rock on...

Hi Jay

Who could argue with those kredentials? The firewall takes on a whole new

Hello Steveo:

Are those four each 811 tubes for the Collins 30L-1 Amp? Or did it use 2
each 572B Tubes? No I am thinking of the Yaesu FL-2100B Amp? yeah thats it.

Well look at RF Parts at http://www.rfparts.com

They have a matched quad set of 811 Tubes for a $100.oo American Dollars.

The out fit that I occasionally help out bought a new 3CX3000A7 Tube
from them for their Spectrometer. It generates a RF Arc with rock and
what not in it and analyzes the color spectrum of the rock for mining.
They won't tell me about the rock make up or anything else, but it
doesn't take a rocket scienctists to see where there all digging.

A local guy replaced the 4CX1000 tube out of his Collins 30S1 amp with a
4CX2500 tube still waiting for the results on that one.

Thanks Jay, I'll drop a land-line on them tomorrow. I need them for spares.
