Correct Frank. Nice batteries a bit over
priced, but I can get them wholesale, so
their perfect for my purposes.

I have a Messenger 1600 w/remote for sale. It is in perfect working
condition, thought the on/off switch on the remote needs to be
replaced. It's 2 pills driving 16 (Not sure of the exact set, but I
think the 16 are 1446, again not totally sure). Pictures are available
upon request. I had this checked and was told exactly as follows "No
charge for checking the amp, that thing kicks ass!"
The reason for selling it is, well I have a Messenger 1200 in my
Bronco and a Texas Star 667 in
the pick up, so needless to say no use for this rig anymore.

Asking for $1000.00 or best offer

Guaranteed not DOA

Hello Landshark

Sounds like a bitchin' driver! Ever try it against the drive-thru
window intercom? g

Nah, but work wonders at some grocery stores....."Herb, clean
up in isle B".....

The virtual sky is the limit with an portable amp that size. (toss
lightning bolts at automatic garage doors just for giggles)

Unit talks some real DX too, especially for a portable.

108" noodle?

Depends. If I'm going to places with low objects, run a shorter
antenna. 102" on top of my F150 4WD, I hit the top of over passes
and lots of other normally high objects.

forwarded to proper authorities.

Where does it say I can't own an amp? Why did you
cross post this to Rec.Amateur Misc & policy? Are you
a troll? LOL!!!!!!!! What a maroon.

Oh yeah and tree limbs too, nice antenna otherwise tho. Especially when one
is running a 16 pill. I find mine to be directional toward the front of the
truck, which is just fine. (no 16 pill over here, 2 pill portable)

Which short antenna do you use?
