Default Avanti "Moonraker IV" Antenna

I have the antenna, heavy duty rotor & control, coax, switchbox, etc.; made
in 60's - 70's. Been in bsmt for 25+/- years. Any interest? What's it
worth?

Is the antenna still in good shape, and which rotor is it?

Rotor is probably shot, coax is bad, boom to element mounts probably shot,
if the boom has a dent it will probably fold in half when you try to put it
up. $50 tops.

Buying a pig in a poke. Ive bought two for less than that. Lots of stuff
will go bad just sitting around for 25 years, even worse if it was ever
used.

Looks like we're standing by for a condition report then.. I'm more
interested in the rotator.

None the less that's a nice rig, operational.

Moonrakers can be turned into a nice antenna. The way they come the boom is
too short for a 4 element amtenna. Most of those rotators I ve seen were
DOA, gears stripped, lightning damage.

Your point has -nothing- to do with his ad, Jimmie.

You bid $50 for open, or is that too rich for your blood?
