I filter out known troll subjects and names, but this group has always been targeted more than any other group I use. This group has such a high ratio of ****e that I have set my reader to download headers only. I then mark the few (very few) threads that look worth reading, so they will be downloaded. Known trolls who post within those threads get knocked out by the filter, as do all replies to their posts. Life is too short to waste it on newsgroup trolls.
