Default midland handheld cd owner wants to increase transmission and reception power. (min investment and trouble)

forget the model number its one of these cuties with scanning.

acts like a cellphone when you turn it on.

A handheld device operating at 27 MHz is useless. Once you bother hooking
up a mike, antenna and power source to it, you might as well just get a
proper mobile radio. The same thing holds true for 2 meter HT's!
